WHERE CAN I SEE YOUR WORK IN PERSON?
My work can be viewed year round at Britton Gallery in Bracebridge, these shops/galleries throughout Canada, as well as these events.

DO YOU DO CUSTOM WORK?
I do take on select commissions throughout the year, when my schedule allows and when the proposed project is in line with my general aesthetic. If you are interested in comissioning a piece, please contact me to discuss the details.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
My jewellery is made predominantly from sterling silver, with the occasional use of copper, brass, gold, gemstones, found objects and natural materials.

HOW DO I CARE FOR ONE OF YOUR PIECES?
The best way to maintain the finish of your piece, and to prevent tarnishing is to wear it. When not being worn, store the piece in an airtight container (i.e. ziploc) in order to slow the oxidization process. Below you will find directions for cleaning the various finishes that Miranda utilizes:

POLISHED (SHINY) FINISH: Clean with a polishing cloth intended for sterling silver or you can try this natural method (Put some aluminum foil, your silver jewellery and a couple of inches of water at the bottom of a pan. Add 2 tsp. of salt and 2 tsp. of baking soda; bring it to a boil and let it boil for a few minutes. Remove your jewellery, rinse, and buff with a soft cloth).

BRUSHED (MATTE) FINISH: Using a kitchen scouring pad or fine sandpaper (400 or 600 grit), rub with the grain of the metal to remove any tarnish from your piece.

OXIDIZED (DARKENED) FINISH: These pieces do not require cleaning or polishing, however please keep in mind that the dark patina will lighten with time and any rubbing or polishing will speed up this process.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you are uncertain about how to clean a particular piece or, if you would prefer, I will happily clean your piece for free, provided that you cover the cost of shipping to and from the studio.

I HAVE ONE OF YOUR PIECES AND IT BROKE, WHAT DO I DO?
With proper care, your jewellery should last you for many years, however, it is not indestructible. Delicate chains can only withstand so much pulling and rings will eventually get scratched and scuffed. Should you require a repair, please contact me with a description of the issue and I will repair it for free (shipping not included). If the damage has been caused by unusual wear and tear, a small repair fee will apply.

I BOUGHT A PAIR OF EARRINGS FROM YOU AND I LOST ONE, WILL YOU SELL ME A SINGLE EARRING?
Yes, I will. Please contact me and I will provide you with details on how to purchase a single earring.

DO YOU SELL YOUR WORK IN GALLERIES OR SHOPS?
Yes. If you would like to see my work in person, you can check out any of these fine stockists. For retailers interested in carrying my jewellery, please don't hesitate to contact me.
