CLASSES

I offer a variety of private and semi-private class options in my studio in Windermere. Whether you'd like to craft your own wedding band, make a gift for a special friend or book a series of sessions to learn the skills required for a larger scale project, I can work with you to customize a class on a day/time that works with your schedule.

A wedding ring is a symbolic object, steeped in rich history and significance. Spending the day with your partner-to-be, making your own wedding bands by hand, only adds to the depth of meaning of your rings. During this one day workshop, I will guide you through each step as you saw, anneal, bend, solder, file, sand and polish your way from a flat piece of sterling silver sheet to a beautiful ring.

PRIVATE CLASSES

Jewellery making classes are a great way for individuals to reconnect with their creative sides or for small groups of friends or family to spend some quality time learning together. You'll go home with a strong sense of accomplishment, some new skills and a finished piece of jewellery made by your very own hands. Gift certificates for classes are also available for those crafty people in your lives.

In a half day session, you can choose to make a set of stacking rings, a few bangles, a pair of chain earrings or something else you might have in mind. During a full day session, several pieces can be completed or we can work on a more intensive project. I am always open to ideas, so if you have a special project in mind, please let me know and I'll let you know if it's doable.
